Congratulations Scholarship Recipients! This week: Ryan Jandrey
With fall semester under way, we would like to recognize the hardworking students who received scholarships from our Lodge! Our scholarship program began in 1992. Since then, 76 students from Eveleth have been awarded $36,000.00 in total to date. These scholarships are made possible from the money we raise each year from the concession stand. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time to work the stand!
Each week we will feature one of our seven 2016 scholarship winners. This week we would like to recognize Ryan Jandrey!
Ryan Jandrey is the son of Jim and Theresa Jandrey of Gilbert. While in high school, Ryan was a member of the National Honor Society, serving as president; he was also on the math team and was co-captain of the Knowledge Bowl team. He was a member of the Varsity Football team and basketball teams, as well as the Athletic Club. He served as an election judge and helps in highway cleanup efforts and at Willow Wood as a guest helper. Ryan plans on attending either UMD or the College of St. Scholastica to major in bio-chemistry or pre-pharmacy. After attaining a Bachelor of Science Degree, he will attend pharmacy school. Congratulations Ryan!
