Scholarship Winner: Rebekah Davidson!
Each week throughout the summer, we will be introducing one of our scholarship winners! This week, meet Rebekah Davidson:
Rebekah Davidson is the daughter of Deron and Sheila Davidson of Virginia. While at Virginia High School, Rebekah was the President of the National Honor Society, which hosted events such as blood drives and Pennies for Patients. She served as Secretary of the Student Council, was in the A Capella Choir, and was a member of the Concert Band. She was a captain for both the Tennis Team and the Girls Hockey Team, where she learned how to be an effective leader. Rebekah volunteers at her church as a Sunday School teacher and has attended the ELCA Youth Convention in Houston. She has also received Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, being nominated by the Virginia Club.
While attending Mesabi Range College in her junior year, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide. In starting her career to be a Registered Nurse, Rebekah will attend the College of St. Scholastica. Afterwards, she will become either a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Physician’s Assistant. Rebekah is ranked #7 in her class of 124. Congratulations, Rebekah!
