Meet Scholarship Winner Abbie Sundich!

Abbie Sundich is the daughter of Richard Sundich of Eveleth. While at Rock Ridge High School, she was

involved in the Speech team, served as a judge for junior varsity, and co-mentoring a younger student on the team.

During her senior year, Abbie was Elks Student of the Month, and a quarter finalist for their Most

Valuable Student. Abbie was selected as the Lake Power Youth Tour Representative, worked as a team

member at Target, and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa at Mesabi Community College. Abbie plans to

attend Hamline University in St. Paul, MN, to earn a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in sociology

or communications. Afterwards, she plans to obtain a Master’s Degree in English.
